- 2 teaspoons of onion powder.
- 1 teaspoon spicy mustard
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
- 1.5 cups of vegetable oil.
- 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley leaves
- 1 cup of water
Step 1: Prepare the Milk Blend
In a mixing bowl, pour in the mentioned amount of evaporated milk and add the beaten egg and a cup of water into it. Mix these two items well, and you will find a thick texture of the milk blend. Step 4: Deep Frying in a Deep Fryer
Now it is time to fry. I recommend using a deep fryer for it. If you want to get a well-fried, juicy chicken, then it would be best to use a deep fryer. First, you need to plug in and turn the switch of the deep fryer on. Pour the required amount of oil into it and set your heat to 350'F.
Heat the oil to the temperature, and then lift the basket of the deep fryer and put all the prepared chicken pieces into it. Then you put off the lid of the fryer and wait for 15 minutes. After waiting, open the lid and lift the basket. You will find your chicken turning golden brown. Remove the chicken from the basket, and your New Orleans fried chicken is ready!
