- ½ Cup Coconut Flour
- ¼ Cup Arrowroot Powder
- ¼ Cup Corn Flour
- 1 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 or 2 beaten eggs
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon ground parmesan
- 1 Cup of Coconut Oil or Olive Oil
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
The first step is to prepare the main ingredients (Coconut Flour and Chicken) for the cooking. Coconut Flour can be made at home or bought from online and offline stores.
You can also use ground coconut flakes instead. Using Arrowroot powder is optional. If you want to have keto-friendly and gluten-free coconut flour fried chicken, you can delete this ingredient.

Step 2: Make Coconut Flour Mixture for Coconut Flour Fried Chicken
In this phase, you need to take ½ cup of coconut flour in a large mixing bowl. Add ¼ cup of arrowroot powder, ¼ cup of cornstarch, and 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the coconut flour.

Then add kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, ground paprika, black and white pepper, cumin powder, and ground parmesan to it. Zip the plastic bag and shake all the ingredients well. Place this marinated chicken aside for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Coat the chicken with Coconut Flour mixture and egg mixture
After 30 minutes, remove the chicken pieces from the bag. Then, make an egg mixture. Take 1 or 2 beaten eggs. Add the mentioned spices and mix them perfectly.
Now coat the chicken pieces with the flour mixture first. You can use a plastic bag for coating. Secondly, take the chicken pieces from the flour mixture and dip them into the egg mixture.
Place the chicken pieces into the flour mixture again. Coat them with coconut flour mixture finely.
Step 5: Deep Fry with Deep Fryer

First, you need to plug in the deep fryer. Second, turn the switch on. Place the chicken pieces in the basket of the deep fryer. It is better not to be overcrowded with pieces. Pour coconut oil or olive oil into the chamber of the deep fryer.
Now, set the basket on the fryer and put the lid off. Set the temperature to 365 degrees Fahrenheit. Set the timer for 10 minutes. Let's wait for crispy coconut flour fried chicken to get ready.
